⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ “One of the best hidden gems in Melbourne!” Lonsdale Larder has quickly become my go-to café in the CBD. The vibe is relaxed, the staff are genuinely friendly, and the coffee is always on point. Their Mont Blonc is hands-down one of the best drinks in Melbourne — smooth, creamy, and perfectly balanced. It’s the kind of specialty coffee that makes you come back every day. The food’s great too — fresh, simple, and made with care — and the whole place just has that cozy, local energy you don’t find often in the city. Whether you’re grabbing your morning coffee, lunch, or just want to chill for a bit, Lonsdale Larder is definitely worth checking out.

Hands down the best cafe in the area. Very cozy, amazing staff and most of all amazing coffee. Lots of food options with amazing atmosphere. You will come across from good selection of focaccias, amazing muffins and slice selection. Very close to public transport such as trains and trams. If you’re in a rush to head to the office this is the place to go. Very fast and friendly service. Highly recommended. Pretty sure management has changed recently. If you’re ever in the city and need a cosy little spot to refuel, Lonsdale Larder is an absolute gem! Tucked away on Lonsdale Street, it’s got this fresh, modern vibe with a gorgeous green wall and plenty of natural light that just makes you feel relaxed the moment you walk in. The food? Delicious! I had a toasted sandwich that was perfectly crispy on the outside and packed with fresh ingredients inside, plus a side of sweet potato fries that were spot on. And the coffee – rich, smooth, and served with a smile – exactly how a city coffee should be. The staff were warm and welcoming, and you can tell they actually care about the experience you have there. It’s the kind of place where you can have a quick bite between meetings, or linger over a coffee and just watch the world go by. Highly recommend this spot for breakfast, brunch, or just a great coffee in the heart of the city. I’ll definitely be back!

Lonsdale Larder serves coffee that actually makes waking up worth it. The food is fresh and tasty, with some amazing dishes made by Nazi, the lovely lady behind them. The staff are friendly and welcoming, specially DJ who brings such good vibes and light to the place, Alex, with his amazing and humble personality, adds an extra special touch!!—it’s hard not to smile when they’re around. Huge congrats to Cass and Matteo for making such an awesome team! The whole staff really make it a great place to be. Guys, don’t forget to try the new addition to the menu: Mont Black—it’s amazing! Definitely coming back

Majestic experience, from the taste of the new coffee called Mont Blanc being better than anything you can expect. The service is excellent plus they have a nice variety of sandwiches! Would recommend if you’re looking for a good fresh and fresh cold brew this summer

Had the avocado smash for breakfast and it was a bit average, it looked like something one of my kids would make. It tasted okay, the inclusion of the red onion was nice. It's a copy cafe though and the coffee was pretty good.

The staff here are incredibly warm and kind, always greeting you with a smile, and what really stands out is their consistency — every single coffee tastes just as perfect as the first one.
